You mentor the coach, not the kids.

This is the part of the chain most people get wrong. We do not need more adults mentoring teenagers. We need adults mentoring the young adults who mentor the teenagers, because a coach cannot give a young person more than they have themselves.

Your coach is 18 to 30 and early in a career. They are learning to manage a room, navigate a workplace, and build something that lasts. You have done some version of that already.

It is an hour that compounds. Help one coach get better and twenty young people feel it every week, all year.

What you would do
  • One hour a month with one coach, consistently
  • Talk through the actual work: a hard session, a hard conversation
  • Open a door in your own world when it is the right door
  • Show up to a session or a night when you can
What we ask
  • 35 and up
  • Some distance down a career, any career
  • One hour a month you will actually protect
  • Background check
This is the line on the mission board with a zero on it.
