Time and talent, shared with the chain.
21 and up. Guides show up for sessions and bring whatever time and talent they have to the chain. You do not run the session and you are not responsible for a cohort. You are another adult in the room who knows people's names, which is most of what makes a session feel full instead of thin.
Some guides skate. Plenty do not. What matters is that you come back, because the whole thesis here is repetition, and a face a young person recognises is worth more than a stranger with better technique.
Guides also roll on trips, which is where a lot of the actual belonging happens.
What you would do
- Show up for sessions when you can
- Roll on snow trips and community days
- Learn names and use them
- Certification and orientation before your first session
