Los Angeles Art Auction at The Pit: STOKED, October 24, 2026

On Saturday, October 24, 2026, more than forty artists have come together for a one-night-only special exhibition in partnership with The Pit in Los Angeles. Every piece on the wall is up for auction, and bidding runs online and in the room. The work goes home with somebody. The money goes into coaches.

This is the STOKED Los Angeles art auction. The artists are excited about this show, and we think you will be too.

A one-night exhibition at The Pit

The Pit is a contemporary art gallery in Los Angeles, founded in 2014 by artists Adam D. Miller and Devon Oder. Its program runs through California counterculture, material, and design, which makes it a natural home for this show. For one night, its walls belong to more than forty artists who said yes to STOKED.

What is on the wall

STOKED runs programs in New York and Los Angeles, and the artists in this show reflect the Los Angeles side of that. The full artist list is up now at stoked.org/auction, and every lot goes live on October 14, when bidder registration opens.

How bidding works

You do not have to be in Los Angeles to bid. Bidding runs online and in the room at the same time, so a collector across the country and someone standing in front of the piece at The Pit are bidding on the same lot.

• October 14: the lots go live and bidder registration opens. Register early so you are not entering a card at eight o'clock on the night.
• October 24: bid in the room at The Pit or online. The auction closes at 11:59pm that night.
• October 25 and after: winning bidders pick up their work at The Pit the next day, or we can arrange delivery or shipping.

Where the money goes

Every lot funds the work of connecting kids to coaches and coaches to mentors.

The disease is loneliness. The cure is a chain. STOKED builds that chain with paid coaches, 18 to 30 years old, who show up for the same young people every week, all year. Belonging is not a room. It is not a program. It is a person who shows up long enough to change your life. The kid who had somebody becomes the somebody.

An art auction is a strange way to fight loneliness until you have been in the room. Live art, music, and a few words about the coaches the night pays for.
