Contest Rules:

Contest starts at 10am sharp. Signup on the beach from 8-9am. We will split up each surfer according to the borough in the brackets. Top two or three surfers from each heat will advance to the next round (depending on the amount of surfers). Each heat is 20 minutes. You are scored on best three waves within your heat. Shortboards only. No longboards. 15 year old and up only. Every person must sign a waiver and show proof of residency in the 5 boroughs (Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, and the Bronx).

Expression Session: 20 minute heat. Judged on best manuever. Throught the day, there will be giveaways, raffles, and surf lessons.

Stoked Mentoring is a youth development organization that combines mentoring, after-school programs, and life skills / career skills workshops within the framework of action sports (snowboarding, skateboarding, and surfing) culture to make at-risk youth better prepared for work and life within the 21st century.
